As a grieving mom, Maria has come to accept that she will always be a grieving parent. That’s okay…..this isn’t about sympathy or a plea, it’s reality. In 2009 Marie’s oldest son passed away which left her devastated, broken and in a complete mess. It took courage to navigate the mess life had become, to pick up the broken pieces and to build a new life. There is no easy path, the road is filled with trials and turbulence.
Now, grieving is a part of Marie and she owns it! What has changed is her ability to believe in herself and the future again. To be able to choose life and enjoy each present moment”
